Personal details of the policyholder
We would be happy to send you your personal offer to safeguard your photovoltaic system by e-mail. To do this, we will need some personal details. You can also register for the customer portal in this step. This portal provides access to all of your clearly presented insurance documents and can also be used to make a claim if your system is damaged.
You will be able to review the details you have entered in the next step and will then receive your offer by e-mail. Using the link contained in the e-mail, you can take out your insurance cover immediately online.
You will receive the following documents from us in an e-mail:
- Your individual offer
- Terms and conditions of the policy
- Data protection notice
- Preliminary information
- General Terms and Conditions
ADVISORY NOTE:
The additional cover agreed in the insurance contract also includes cover for the individual components at the place of insurance during the construction phase. We therefore recommend stating the beginning of the construction phase as the start date of your insurance cover for the best possible protection of your system.
Please note that our photovoltaic insurance covers property damage and downtime costs for your own system only. Liability damage caused to third parties (e.g. neighbours’ property – for example due to falling modules) are not covered and are usually included in home and landowner premises liability insurance. Please check your risk coverage accordingly and contact your insurer if necessary.
Please be aware!
Please note that the insurance cover does not begin once the offer has been received. Insurance cover can be guaranteed as soon as the premium has been paid. Once payment has been made, you will receive your insurance contract right away by e-mail. A copy of the contract is also stored in the customer portal.
